Starry Cross Academy is a Sci-Fi Christian Fiction Animated Series about the galactic adventures of Rev. Mars Jacobi, and the teen-aged members of the track team he coaches for Starry Cross Academy, a private Christian high school at an outer space satellite colony in the Starry Cross Quadrant, in the year 2072.
Starry Cross Academy is a Jairation Joint Production in association with Lamppost Lit, created, written and directed by Jai Anthony-Lewis Husband, an award-winning Senior Animation Director for Turner Broadcasting’s Turner Studios in Atlanta, GA.The Adventures of SCA begin with an exciting, feature-length pilot, Starry Cross Academy: Siege at Issaria
that sets up the Starry Cross world and characters for episodic series spin-off.
Designed to appeal to both the faith-basedmarket and the secular one, SCA would be the first
African-American Sci-Fi creative property, as
well as the first Christian Sci-Fi creative
property (all previous christian fiction presupposes
a post-raptured Earth in the near future, while
Starry Cross supposes that even in 2072 in a
post-inhabitable earth universe, Christians are
still awaiting the Second Coming of Yeshua. They are terraforming planets as are the rest of the
refugees of E1. There are no aliens in the
Starry Cross world, just humans colonizing the
galaxy and living the kind of lives and dealing with the same kind of life questions we deal with presently on earth: "Why are we here?" , "Is there a God?" and "Does the great big huge universe have any meaning?"
